The Makita DC18RD Rapid Charger can charge two 18V Li-Ion batteries at the same time, with advanced technology that optimises voltage, current, and temperature for maximum efficiency. The built-in forced air cooling system prevents overheating, while LED indicators and an audible alert let you know when charging is complete.

The Makita BL1850B 5.0Ah Batteries use high-energy density lithium-ion technology for extended run time and durability. They feature foam cell construction, shock absorption, and a slide-on design with secure multi-contacts to maintain a firm connection. Despite their high capacity, they are the same size and weight as 3.0Ah or 4.0Ah batteries, making them lighter and easier to handle than older battery types.
